The Collection of WOLVERINE/CAPTAIN AMERICA Volumes 1-4
While meandering through a loaded comic book store in New York City (it was epic, honestly. Overwhelming to say the least), there was a single comic that stood out for one reason and one reason only: my two FAVORITE comic book characters were sharing a cover together. Let me introduce you to the beauty that is WOLVERINE AND CAPTAIN AMERICA.
The storyline is one that may anger avid comic book readers at first. There are some questionable events that happen to Wolverine that will have people screaming Are you kidding me?! but will make them continue to read to find out what is going to occur next. With unbelievable new artwork and design styles, this comic book is also captivating to the naked eye. It may not be as provocative as many comic books are, but it portrays the men and women in a way that is fresh for those who may grow tired of the typical artistic style of comic books. With witty banter between Captain America and Wolverine, as well as sassy remarks from the female superhero, Warbird, this comic book collection will leave all readers wanting more. This particular edition also has an extra comic located in the back of the collection: A Captain America/Wolverine team up from 1988! It’s a great way to see how the artwork has changed and how the story lines have continued to grow and morph as the years have passed. If you have time during your lunch hour or if you want a quick read to take a break from your school work this year, I would recommend the WOLVERINE/CAPTAIN AMERICA comic book collection. And as a special goodie for all of you, I’ve included some actual pictures from the collection itself. If these don’t capture your attention, I don’t know what will. ENJOY!
